Dr. Pradeepkumar Sundarraj is turning that idea into reality. As the Founder and CEO of Kelvin6K, he is working to transform one of the world’s oldest industries through robotics, automation and 3D printing.
With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and experience with institutions including the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Dr. Sundarraj developed a strong foundation in advanced engineering and research. Dr. Sundarraj recognised a fundamental challenge in construction: traditional building methods can be slow, labour-intensive and expensive. Rather than simply discussing the problem, he and his team began developing technology that could automate major parts of the construction process.
That vision resulted in Kelvin6K’s robotic 3D-printing systems, bringing large-scale construction automation closer to practical, on-site use. The company’s technology has been applied to real construction projects, including defence-related infrastructure.
