Narendra Modi is the Prime Minister of India and the principal executive authority of the Union Government. As head of the Council of Ministers, he is responsible for setting national policy direction, overseeing governance, and representing India at the international level.

Since assuming office, his leadership has focused on governance reforms, infrastructure development, economic modernization, digital public services, and strengthening India’s global engagement. Key initiatives associated with his tenure include nationwide infrastructure expansion, digital governance platforms, social welfare delivery reforms, and emphasis on self-reliance in strategic sectors.

As Prime Minister, he chairs the Union Cabinet, leads policy coordination across ministries, and plays a central role in crisis management, national security, and diplomatic relations. The Prime Minister operates within the framework of the Constitution and is collectively responsible to the Parliament of India.
